Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Salary Amount or Range: $30/hr on payroll plus health benefis
Children: 12 month old and 4 year old who has his own care team

Description:
Loving and active family in San Francisco’s St. Francisco Wood neighborhood is seeking a full time nanny/family assistant with an upbeat personality and healthy lifestyle to join the household team and care for bright and energetic young boy. The family values a nanny who has a child development background. The baby has a quiet and beautiful older brother who is disabled and has his own dedicated nurse/nanny team. The position requires a team player who enjoys working with others. Schedule:


Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm


Candidate should be flexible willing to stay late or overnight for occasional date nights, willing to work an occasional Saturday or Sunday 1x or 2x a month.Willing to travel 1-2x a year domestically for short trips


Bother parents have demanding careers in tech and real estate development working in home during COVID-19 restrictions and also off site.


Experience Requirements
2 or more years of experience working as a private nanny with verifiable references


Fluent in Communication Skills


Newborn experience


Organized


Candidate understands the cycles and stages of child development, can offer insight into nap schedules, etc.


Can help guide parents and make recommendations with resources, child rearing philosophies, books, classes, etc.


Can make long-term commitment


Educational Requirements
Child Development Background


Some college or a college degree


Fluent in English


Qualifications
Valid DL + car – Must have CPR, TB and TDAP up-to-date. Yearly flu shot.


Responsibilities

Maintain routine for toddler, creative playtime activities indoor and outdoor activities
Facilitate cognitive and motor development through reading, floor play, with toys and imaginative play, blocks, letters, music and dance – Montessori philosophy
Prepare nutritious snacks and meals for baby
Child Laundry/Family Laundry
Keep child's room and play area cleaned and organized
Maintain stock of necessary child items
Maintain light housekeeping (house keeper comes 1x a week for deep cleaning)
Cook occasionally for family or basic meal prep
Occasional child related or family errands

Prepare nutritious snacks and meals for baby
Household duties related to the baby– organizing, laundry, making the bed, cleaning kitchen after meals/snack
