Job description

Loyal Source Technical Services is seeking a stock clerk for a contract opportunity working with our client company in Coronado, CA.

Responsibilities: 




  • Assist in Special Operations Forces Sustainment Asset Visibility and Information

  • Exchange (SSAVIE) Management.

  • Assist in Customer Service/Material & SPEAR gear issue and return.

  • Process incoming material after receipt by Government personnel, stowage, inventories, and daily reconciliation of material tracked in SSAVIE.

  • Process items through Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) as necessary. Personnel shall have prior use experience of DRMO program.

  • Process and manage the receipt, turnover and shipment of material. Personnel shall have a minimum 3 Years’ experience warehousing personnel gear prior to issue to members of a Military organization.

  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE). A license to operate a forklift is required.




  • Receive/ship incoming/outgoing material.

  • Process and manage the return and disposal of personal gear. Personnel shall have a minimum 3 Years’ experience managing personnel gear returned from members of a Military organization.

  • Receive and process gear returns.

  • Process disposal.

  • Enter data into multiple databases and ensure data is maintained.

  • Ensure consistency and appropriate cross-referencing for newly entered and previously entered data.

  • Retrieve data and use data to respond to a variety of customer and vendor inquiries.

  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends, deficiencies, and accomplishments related to the assigned programs.

  • Perform research to determine reasons for patterns of transaction errors and failures.

  • Research problems surfaced by customers; resolve issues or route to appropriate Government personnel with information setting forth research findings.

  • Conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns; assemble retrieved information into different formats to meet different requirements; for example, status reports, unmet customer needs, and other similar areas.

  • Review existing automated system(s) to determine feasibility improvement.



 



Requirements:




  • Possess a valid state driver’s license.

  • Be able to drive Government-owned trucks, forklifts and vans. No CDL license required.

  • Have, at time of contract award, and maintain an active Secret Clearance.

  • Be able to operate Government provided Personal Computers (PC) with common/standard business software programs. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, to include Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Have direct knowledge of installation level and strategic support logistic programs and systems that relate to logistic capability and capacity.
