Job description


Review and audit client engagement agreements and associated business retention documents related to the opening of new engagements for the firm;
Update and maintain digital records associated with the compliance and intake process
Evaluate information secured in the business intake process to ensure accuracy and adequacy prior to approval in the billing system
Prompt and professional follow up with global personnel for additional information or for clarity of information as needed
Conduct timely approval of new business requests
Work alongside Conflicts Analysts to update database/digital records
Assist with special projects and assignments as needed

Job requirements


At least 1 year of experience supporting a conflicts team
At least 2 years of experience working in a legal/law department environment
College degree preferred
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. The ability to approach individuals at all levels within the firm by telephone, email correspondence or in person with confidence and clarity
The ability to solve problems in a methodical, practical way
Ability to multi-task, follow-up/follow through, be thorough, prioritize and pay close attention to detail are required
Must be able to function seamlessly in a time sensitive environment (i.e. handle urgent/rush requests, without sacrificing quality)
Must be customer service oriented
Experience with Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with Conflicts or Records databases or similar preferred
