We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Marion Carlton Inn Hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role is essential in upholding our standards of hospitality and service excellence.

Job requirements

Duties
• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all spaces are spotless and well-maintained.
• Carry out floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to enhance the appearance of the property.
• Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products in guest rooms and public areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly to ensure a safe environment for all.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness are consistently met.
Skills
• Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping roles with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred to understand the nuances of guest service.
• Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively while completing tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
