Senior Vice President of Operations

Job description

We’re seeking a highly experienced VP or SVP of Operations with an extensive background in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Retirement Communities, or Senior Housing.

Location: Preferably based near Florida
Travel: Up to 50% across various senior communities

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee Daily Operations – Directly manage operations across all client's communities,
ensuring excellence in service, care, and financial performance.
• Lead the Leadership Team – Provide guidance, accountability, and mentorship to regional
and corporate leaders who report directly to you.
• Drive Turnaround Success – Visit communities regularly to implement strategies that deliver
occupancy growth, expense control, and NOI improvement.
• Deliver on Budgets & Strategy – Ensure every asset meets or exceeds budget goals while
aligning short-term execution with the client's long-term vision.
• Support Growth & Transitions – Lead the operational integration of newly acquired
communities and establish best practices to ensure smooth transitions.

Job requirements

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in senior housing, healthcare, or hospitality
operations.
• Proven track record in turnaround management, with measurable results in occupancy, NOI,
and performance improvement.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and execute on growth
strategies.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience overseeing regional or multi-site teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to support community performance and leadership
engagement.
