Loyal Source Technical Services Division is seeking a Mechanical Assembler II for a contract to hire opportunity with our client in Tampa, FL.

JOB DESCRIPTION:



The Mechanical Assemblers are responsible for assembling flight simulators and when a flight simulator is ready to be delivered, they will dissemble it fly out with it to our client training centers that are located on various military bases across the U.S. where they then reassemble it.



 



RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Shoot and buck rivets to specifications following FAA guidelines

  • Perform sheet metal bends

  • Remove existing rivets from aircraft structure

  • Build components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials.

  • Read blueprints



 



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Secret clearance

  • Sheet metal experience

  • A&P certified

  • 6+ years in aircraft structural repair or flight simulator assembly



 



DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Consistent work history

  • Prior military experience

  • Understanding of military and commercial workmanship standards
