Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown / MedSurg / LTAC

Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Loyal Source is actively seeking to a confident and qualified Registered Nurse to place into into a 6-week position in Hammond, LA. During this assignment as a Registered Nurse, you will be working hands on with multiple healthcare professionals caring for patients within a hospital setting.

SALARY:

Each location and client are unique; so are the pay packages associated with them.   We are happy to discuss, in detail, an exact pay package for this position including taxed and untaxed money, where applicable.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A current license as a Registered Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State in which the facility is located


• Must have and maintain a current CPR and ACLS certification. *New team members will have 6 months from date of hire to obtain an ACLS certification if they do not currently have one.

A few things that aren't required, but preferred:

• Having prior experience in LTACH/Acute/Med-Surg/ICU/HOU environments


• Wound care and/or critical care experience


• A higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.


• Working knowledge of IV therapies including vasoactive drugs, antibiotics, heparin drips, insulin drips, and blood transfusions
